On September 23,the Ministry of Commerce released the preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation against the distiller grain imported from the US in its announcement No.49 of 2016.
MOFCOM ruled that dumping exists in the distiller grain imported from the US, the Chinese distiller grain industry is substantially damaged and there is casual relationship between the dumping and its substantive damages, so MOFCOM decides to conduct temporary anti-dumping measures against the distiller grain imported from the US through cash deposit. According to the ruling, from September 23, 2016, importers of the distiller grain imported from the US should hand in the deposit according to the confirmed dumping degree (33%) of the enterprises to China’s Customs.
The probed products are listed into the Imports and Exports Tariff of the People’s Republic of China and the tax number is 23033000.
In response to the application of China’s distiller grain industry, the Ministry of Commerce released an announcement on January 12, 2016, deciding to launch anti-dumping investigation against the imports from the US.
